Many of you have let me know that some of my image pairings & arrangements pop up in other venues such as Facebook Swipe groups (esp. the great COMICS SWIPES Facebook group). Well, I'm flattered the posts are popular and that people enjoy PANELOCITY's swipes and "inspired bys", regardless of where they are presented. After all, the Internet is meant for sharing, right?

Fantastic Four #149 (Pt 5) Medusa and Alicia Masters

Continuing with page 2 from Fantastic Four #149, let's check out a couple of Medusa panels from the bottom tier on that page, specifically the first and last panels here.

And "perhaps" for Panel 3:
That last panel of Medusa running down a circular, tunnel-like area may have been suggested by another  Alicia panel in #67, or maybe not...it's  a fairly typical perspective shot that's often used to depict someone running away.

Fantastic Four #149 (Pt 2) Sue Richards Splash

Continuing with the opening splash of Fantastic Four #149: we saw the inspiration for Namor,  now let's check out Sue. Here, the positioning of her torso, arms and legs immediately reminded me of ...

Note: This Kirby cover was also on view back in 1974 courtesy of Marvel's Greatest Comics #50, which contained a reprint of #67. The bimonthly MGC #50 hit the stands a month before FF #149.

Giant-Size Avengers #1 (Pt 2) Fantastic Four Annual #4

It's well known that there's a lot of Fantastic Four Annual #4-inspired art in 1974's Giant-Size Avengers #1--check out some examples below. And yes, I previously posted a few of these back in March 2010 over at Van Plexico's Avengers Assemble forum--but I really like these, so I'm reposting 'em here!
