Many of you have let me know that some of my image pairings & arrangements pop up in other venues such as Facebook Swipe groups (esp. the great COMICS SWIPES Facebook group). Well, I'm flattered the posts are popular and that people enjoy PANELOCITY's swipes and "inspired bys", regardless of where they are presented. After all, the Internet is meant for sharing, right?

Giant-Size Avengers #1 (Pt 46) Crystal and Mantis

Why is Mantis shown with a big ol' man hand?! What's more the hand is gloved and Mantis doesn't wear gloves. Well, at least the colorist tried to get it right and made it flesh-colored!

Fantastic Four #147 Part 1

Some years ago over at the Two Girls, A Guy, and Some Comics blog when we discussed Fantastic Four #147,  I pointed out some Buckler panels that were based on Jack Kirby's Silver Age work. Well, as the saying goes: there's plenty more where that came from!

The above panel seems to include poses from these two panels from FF #51.
Fantastic Four #51 (1966) Jack Kirby
Fantastic Four 51 This Man This Monster
Also from Fantastic Four #51

Many have noted a visual similarity between Namor's Romita Sr.-designed 1970s garb and a certain Inhuman. ;)
